Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma is wanted by the biggest teams in the Premier League, Arsenal, Liverpool and Man United. Mali international has been with the Seagulls for three years now, having signed in 2018 from Ligue 1 club Lille and has developed into a top footballer at the Amex Stadium.
Bissouma has established himself as one of the most reliable midfielders in the PL, with his all-action displays catching the eye of several big teams. Indeed, both Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked with a move for Yves for a while now, while Man United also seem to have joined the two teams on the list of admirers of the midfielder.
The Gunners had been in the market for a new midfielder all summer as there had been question marks raised over the future of Granit Xhaka. However, after it was confirmed that the Swiss midfielder would be staying, things have gone quiet.
Furthermore, Arsenal have managed to sign Albert Sambi Lokonga to the team, who has looked good in the first few matches. So, a move for the 24-year-old midfielder may not be a priority for the Spanish manager.
But with less than a week left for the summer transfer window to close, a move could be difficult to pull off, especially with the Seagulls are trying to get the Malian midfielder tied down to a new deal. It stays to be seen if there is any development on this front this close to the deadline day.
