RB Leipzig may reportedly be prepared to accept a cut-price fee of £17m for Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal-linked midfielder Marcel Sabitzer.
The Austria international only has a year left before the end of his current contract, with the Bundesliga side, who are running the risk of losing him on for free next year.
As a result, Sabitzer is believed to be available for transfer should he refuse to commit to a new contract, and talks over fresh terms between the two parties are believed to have hit a brick wall.
According to German outlet Bild, Sabitzer possesses a £42.9m release clause in his current contract, however, Leipzig have slashed their price tag to £17m to avoid losing him for nothing in 12 months.
Tottenham and Arsenal have long been linked with a move for the 27-year-old, however, the report adds that AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund have also been alerted to Sabitzer’s availability.
The ex-Red Bull Salzburg lynchpin has found back of the net 52 times and set up 42 more in 227 games for RB Leipzig since arriving in Germany six years ago.
Arsenal also eyeing a move for another Bundesliga midfielder Denis Zakaria from Borussia Monchengladbach.
