The London giants are said to be ready to turn their attention to Man United attacker Jesse Lingard amid failed attempts to add James Maddison. The Gunners have not been able to achieve a breakthrough in their offer to land Maddison, with talks have been ‘very slow’.
Leicester City are said to value their star midfielder at nearly £60m, and that’s not a valuation the Gunners are will to meet having already splashed £50m on Ben White this transfer window. And as a result, Arsenal are ready to move on, with attention turning to England international.
The Red Devils attacker was fantastic during a loan spell with West Ham United last campaign, scoring nine and assisting five in 16 games. The Hammers are said to have attempted to sign Jesse permanently this transfer window, but they have all but given up hope with the attacker ready to get a new start at Man United.
Though, with only one year remaining on his contract, and following the signing of Jadon Sancho, the English winger could still opt to move on if he doesn’t believe he will get sufficient chances. The Gunners could take advantage of that as they look to end their long search for a creative midfielder this summer
